Everest Helicopter Tour

Everest region, Solu-Khumbu · Koshi

"Fly from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp and back in 4 hours — no trekking required, breakfast at 3,860m"

For travelers without time (or fitness) for the 12-day EBC trek, this is the only way to see Everest up close. The 4-hour round trip departs Kathmandu at sunrise, refuels at Lukla, lands briefly at Kalapatthar (5,545m) for the Everest viewpoint, then breakfast at Hotel Everest View (3,860m). Weather-dependent — many flights are postponed or cancelled. Best months are October-November and March-May.
