Pokhara is one of the world's top five paragliding destinations and the only one where you can fly with 8,000m peaks framing the view. Tandem flights launch from Sarangkot ridge (1,592m) and float over Phewa Lake to land at Khapaudi or the lakeside. Standard flights are 25-35 minutes; longer "cross-country" and acrobatic options available. The thermal conditions from October to March are world-class, and most flights happen between 10am and 3pm.
