About
Why visit Bardiya National Park
Bardiya National Park is one of Nepal's most pristine and biodiverse protected areas, sprawling across 968 square kilometers of lowland forests, grasslands, and riverine habitats in the Lumbini Province. Home to endangered Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, one-horned rhinos, and over 450 bird species, this park offers authentic wildlife encounters with significantly fewer visitors than Chitwan. The Karnali River flows through the park, creating a dramatic landscape where jungle safaris and river activities provide intimate access to Nepal's natural splendor.
